Tran moved from Portland, Oregon to Melbourne back in 2017. She has been pursuing her physiotherapy career for more than 7 years, receiving her B.Sci in Kinesiology and a Doctor of Physiotherapy. During and in between her studies, she has worked in an orthopaedic clinic for more than 2 years and volunteered more than 1000 hours to her community in assisting people with multiple sclerosis and children and adults with disabilities. She has extensive experience in various musculoskeletal injuries, utilising different physiotherapy approaches to fit the unique presentation of the individual.
Tran has a special interest in shoulder injuries, committing to extra studies and professional development to enhance her understanding and better equip herself to treat her clients. She is also knowledgeable in biomechanics and utilises biomechanics to alter or modify activities in combination with her physiotherapy skills.
Tran enjoys craft beers and a good cup of coffee, learning more about it by supporting local breweries and cafes. In her free time, she goes to the gym regularly, works on educating future physios and allied health professionals on their anatomy skills, and improving on her physiotherapy craft. She is a huge basketball fan, supporting her local team, the Portland Trail Blazers! She also enjoys playing with her Amstaff and hanging out with her partner.
