David Bruzzese

David is qualified as both a Physiotherapist and an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and has been working in these fields for over 8 years. David is a Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, which is only awarded to physiotherapists who have completed specific post-graduate study and training. Titled Physiotherapists are highly qualified physiotherapists with expert knowledge and skills in musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

David enjoys treating all musculoskeletal conditions, but has particular interest in hip and groin injuries, shoulder injuries and back pain. With David’s additional studies he has found a passion in treating musculoskeletal conditions that are longstanding (greater than 3 months). Growing up in Sydney David surprisingly enough followed Melbourne Storm, which is now acceptable as he calls Williamstown home. David grew up playing a range of sports, but soccer was his passion.

Q: What’s the best city you have traveled to?
A: Barcelona…it’s where I want to retire!

Tara Clifford

Prior to undertaking her Masters of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Sydney, Tara completed a Masters of Exercise Rehabilitation and Bachelor of Exercise Science & Human Movement at Victoria University. Tara believes it is important to address the underlying causes of conditions and injury, not only the symptoms. Tara guides rehabilitation with a combination of manual therapy techniques and specific & functional exercise. Tara has a particular interest in knee rehabilitation, running injuries, women’s health and postural impairments. Tara completed her Pilates training through The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute.

Tara grew up in Williamstown and is a keen Carlton supporter. Tara enjoys running along Williamstown beach or along The Strand. She grew up playing a wide range of sports including netball, basketball and volleyball.

Q: Who is your favourite footy player?
A: Kade Simpson…Self-proclaimed number 1 fan!
