Mikaela graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology.
Mikaela lives and breathes exercise, understanding the benefits it can have on both physical and mental health. Having experienced an array of injuries herself through sport, led to her interest in wanting to help others on their rehabilitation journey.
Mikaela has developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation and previously being a Sports Trainer with VFL’s Williamstown Football Club for a few years, developed a major interest in return to sport/performance following injury.
She is passionate about helping those of all ages to improve their quality of life through exercise alongside lifestyle modification to prevent or manage acute or chronic disease and injury.
Outside the clinic, Mikaela enjoys keeping active, whether that be in the gym, being a weekend warrior at crossfit or spending time outdoors, especially at the beach. When not working out, she’s often out finding the best coffee and brunch in Melbourne.
